Jorge's Class
Daily Updated Notes
Started Off...Started off class with a warm up (in the notes section) to review what we've learned the day before. On the third question we went on learning something new. Afterwards, we continued on the packet that was handed out yesterday, and did section #6 which is what we learned about the the question on the warm up. Notesax^2+bx+c - a new expression that we learned today, and knowing it is a quadratic. If the expression is in a different order, then switch them into the correct way. But if the number of variables or the x^2 is different or not there, it is not a quadratic. To solve these expressions, you'll need to figure out what two numbers when added together equal the bx part of the expression and if those same numbers when multiplied equal the c portion. The answer the example problem is (x+2)(x+4) because 2+4=6 & 2x4=8.
