Jorge's Class
Daily Updated Notes
Started Off...Started off with a warm up on going through with what we've learned recently on factoring. After checking our answers we then figured out on why we went over factoring. The reason being that our next concept was about how to graph parabolas. We did a basic understanding on what they are, learn how to graph them, and why we went over factoring in the first place. NotesParabolas - a graph of a quadratic function (*you know it's quadratic when it's squared)
y=x^2 How to graph - start off by plugging in numbers for x (-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3) and solve, resulting in coordinates that you can now graph ex; y=-3^2 ---> x=-3 y=9 / y=-2^2 ---> x=-2 y=4 and so on * create a chart so that you won't forget or mess up with coordinates
